Armagh based Gribben Motors met with Logon.ni to discuss how they could find new business opportunities using the Internet. The company specialises in commercial and vehicle body repairs and vehicle recovery.

E-procurement is the process of purchasing and supplying goods and services via the internet and Logon.ni gave an overview to the company on how e-procurement works. Logon.ni assisted the company in registering with supply2gov which is the official UK government website for advertising public sector opportunities. Once registered, Gribben Motors will receive e-mail notification of all public sector tender opportunities in their business sector. Logon.ni encouraged Gribben Motors to register with other e-procurement web portals to increase the number of new business opportunities.

A secondary item covered during the meeting was to add the company details to online business directories and create a Google Map listing. This has the benefit of generating free advertising for the company and creating links to the company website. Logon.ni demonstrated to Gribben Motors how to add their details to one directory website and encouraged them to register with a number of other directory websites.
