Logon.ni will hold a workshop in Banbridge Enterprise Centre on 16th November between 2.30pm -5.00pm with the subject ‘Getting a social media page for your business’. The workshop, being held at the request of Banbridge District Council follows on from the recent highly successful workshop on the same topic. This month’s practical workshop is limited to 12 places. If you are a business owner in the Banbridge area and wish to learn more about why you should consider using social media in your business please contact Elaine McAlinden at Banbridge District Council elaine.mcalinden@banbridge.gov.uk to secure your place. At the workshop logon.ni will deliver a short presentation followed by a couple of hours demonstrating how to create a social media page for your business. This is an excellent opportunity to receive free and impartial advice and support on social media. By the end of this workshop it is anticipated that businesses attending will have a solid understanding of why they should consider using Social Media in their business.

 

On Tuesday 22nd November logon.ni will team up with Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) for the first of a series of events to be held between November 2011 and March 2012. The first event will be held in North West Business Complex, Derry/Londonderry. These ICT Business Insight events, in partnership with NITB, will provide businesses in the accommodation and tourism sector the opportunity to learn about how logon.ni can advise and support their business. The workshop will give those in attendance the chance to learn about a variety of ICT tools and techniques they may wish to apply to their business. There will also be the opportunity to meet with logon.ni advisers on the day and arrange free one to one sessions with a logon.ni adviser at a later date.The next NITB and logon.ni Business Insight event is scheduled to take place on 24th November 2011 in Lisburn Enterprise Centre.

 

Four other NITB and logon.ni events will be presented in the first few months of 2012. Provisional dates and venues are listed on the events calendar, but these may be subject to change so please continue to check our calendar of events regularly.
