A successful Balmoral Show for Logon.ni

Logon.ni held successful trade stand position at the Balmoral Show from 12th - 14th May 2010 with advisers assisting many small to medium sized business owners throughout the 3 day event. A variety of different business types called onto the Logon.ni stand including engineering businesses, finance companies, florists and of course farming related industries.
Farmers were particularly interested to explore the online DARD and APHIS services available to them and many also enquired about the processes involved in registering their business to be able to submit online VAT returns and payments. Following these initial enquiries, Logon.ni advisers will provide information and demonstrations to enable farmers to benefit from these time saving online processes.
Other common issues that arose with businesses calling onto the stand included small businesses located in areas where traditional broadband was not available, and the options open to them to obtain a broadband connection. Websites, web designers and self build website packages were also typical topics of conversation, and businesses received some guidance whilst visiting the stand.
The nature of the event meant that only basic guidance could be delivered by Logon.ni advisers on the show stand. Advisers will visit the businesses to follow up initial discussions with more formal and tailored assistance on the relevant topics of their interest.
