September was a busy month for Logon.ni with advisers involved in a number of seminars and presentations. On the 28th of September Logon.ni presented a successful email seminar to 5 local businesses in Antrim Enterprise Centre. The two hour long seminar demonstrated to clients the benefits of having an email account for their business. During the seminar the clients were advised on web mail versus email client and the features and benefits of these two different email accounts. The seminar proceeded to show those in attendance how to compose, send and receive emails and also delete emails. The clients then received a demonstration on how to attach files, the clients were taught about email security and other ways they can use their email account for the business such as online chat, phone calls etc.

 

Those in attendance then took part in a question and answer session and many left feeling confident they could go ahead and set up an email account for their business. The next evening, 29th September, Logon.ni attended the third instalment of the ‘Managing Your Way out of the Recession’ events. This event was held in McElwaine Smart Technologies, Lisnaskea. There was an excellent turnout at the event with 40 businesses registered in attendance. The event was aimed at those business owners who are seeking to ‘manage’ their way out of the recession. This proved a very successful evening with many businesses requesting a free visit by Logon.ni to their business premises to receive further advice and guidance with their broadband and ICT issues.
